In order to comply with Section IV.C.1e(7)(a) of the MS4 General Permit, we have partnered with other MS4s in the area to monitor stream flows and precipitation in stormwater impaired watersheds. This project is being completed by Stone Environmental and Fitzgerald Environmental Associates, in partnership with Vermont DEC.
The project covers 9 stormwater impaired watersheds in Chittenden County and St. Albans. There are a total of 16 individual sites monitoring precipitation, stream flows or both. Within South Burlington’s borders, there are 3 sites.
