O’Dell Parkway

Description

The O’Dell Parkway site consists of 9.81 acres of impervious area located within the Potash Brook watershed. This project was identified within the Potash Brook Flow Restoration Plan to help the City meet its goals for flow reduction within the Potash Brook. This site is also subject to 3-acre requirements as a part of the State Stormwater General Permit 3-9050. There is an existing stormwater pond to the south of the site that collects runoff prior to discharging to the brook. This project proposes to retrofit the existing pond into a gravel wetland to meet standards set by the 3-9050 permit, as well as update the practice to meet the 2017 Vermont Stormwater Management Manual.
